Meet Roneil Kintanar, one of the enthusiastic new interns working with the team at Cocoride.
Roneil is like a pendulum: always swinging back and forth. Having Filipino ancestry, he was born in New Zealand and after several years moved over to Australia in 1999. He then decided to swing back to New Zealand in 2006 but figured he would emulate a boomerang and came back to Australia in 2011 (this time he is here to stay…probably). Throughout his adventures travelling back and forth he has been mistaken for an American, Chinese, Maori and South African, which have led to some amusing situations, with one highlight being his high school English teacher assuming he was a US exchange student because of his funny accent, despite the fact that she had known him for over a year.
Besides his colourful background Roneil is a mad keen runner and public speaker. He relishes in the chance in talk and move, always seizing the chance to speak his mind. He is currently in his first year in University of Melbourne and is studying Bachelor of Commerce (therefore proudly upholding the Asian stereotype). He joins the team at CocoRide to learn the utterly awesome art of entrepreneurship…as well as learning about running events to check out!
